OPES - Ontario Prospects Elite Showcase

The Ontario Prospects Elite Showcase is a high intensity competition that starts off the summer hockey tournament season. The Showcase attracts scouts, coaches and managers from across Ontario looking to add to their training camps in the following months. The Center of Hockey Excellence has assembled teams for the past six years to bring to the OPES and have seen significant success.

Pre Draft Showcase

Join us for the Pre Draft Showcase in Boston, MA on May 10th. The premiere tournament for exposure to NHL, NCAA and CHL scouts. Play up against high-end talent and prove yourself among the competition. Recruit for the PDS begin in April.

Carnevale Showcase

The Carnevale Showcase is a stage for elite Junior A caliber players to participate in an intense, high exposure tournament in the heart of the summer off-season. The Showcase is a destination for top prospects looking to challenge themselves against some of the best competition in the GTA. The goal for CHE is to field a competitive team that can be crowned champions and maximize exposure for it’s players on the winners podium. In 2022, CHE dominated the competition and took home 1st place. You can read more about that victory here.

Valley Elite Junior Showcase

Valley Elite Junior Showcase

Valley Elite Junior Showcase takes place in Ottawa, Ontario. This will be the fifth year in a row where CHE teams make their way to the region. In 2022, our squads were so successful, they met each other in the semi-final. The 16 team Junior A caliber tournament garners a lot of interest from OHL, OJHL and CCHL coaches and scouts.

Toronto Hockey Showcase

Toronto Hockey Showcase

We are pleased to announce the 5th annual Toronto Hockey Showcase is set for June 6-8 2025. It features 16 teams made up of elite players aged 16 to 19 battling for the trophy in an intense and exciting environment. With four games guaranteed against high quality opponents, there is significant exposure to scouts and junior coaches who frequent the Showcase that weekend. This includes coaches and scouts from the OHL, OJHL, NOJHL and GOJHL who bring teams of their own. For more information on the Toronto Hockey Showcase please click the link below. TEP Showcase

The TEP showcase is one of a handful of premiere tournaments in the GTA. The showcase is held at the Ford Performance Centre, which also happens to be the primary practice rink for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Venue and location aside, the TEP has consistently hosted elite teams for over a decade. Senior Chowder Cup

The Chowder Cup is arguably one of the largest and most prestigious tournaments in North America. This event is a hotspot for scouts from all levels, including NHL, AHL, CHL, USHL, NAHL and NCAA. If playing hockey in the USA is a goal for you, the Chowder Cup should be a priority for you this off-season. The “senior” Jr. A division is highly competitive, so roster space will be limited. Junior Chowder Cup

The Junior Chowder Cup is one of the biggest US tournaments of the off-season. CHE has brought elite teams to the Junior Chowder Cup for over 15 years. In 2022, CHE Navy impressed everyone after they became elite tournament finalists. Many of the players from that team went on to make Junior A teams in the following season. Travelling to Boston for the Chowder Cup is also an amazing experience for players and their families alike. You can find additional information on the tournament here.
